• The Medical Training Establishment still are the main use of the site with occasional aircraft visitors using the runways for landing practice.
  
  
• 20th January, another Mosquito (VT608) failed to overshoot the runway and crashed.
  
  
• April 8th, VT581, on touch down, suffered a collapsed landing gear and was written off.
  
  
• December, Grp Cpt Lipscombe is replaced as Station Commander by Grp Cpt Kemp.
