- October, one of the new arrivals in the MTE was
J.L. Yeomans, he recounts his time
there.
- November 2nd, the airfield came back into use as No2 Refresher Sqn
from the CFS arrived from Little Rissington.
- November, as 2 RS arrive, under the Command of Sqn Ldr J.B.A.
Flemming, with their Harvards they are split into 2 flights each with 8
Instructors.
Their task was to give single engine experience to re-entrant pilots and pilots
of Bomber, Coastal or Transport Command.
- November 21st, No 121 Course arrive to begin their training. The
first 6 courses were planed to last four weeks but this was increased to six
