This aircraft became a regular visitor to Moreton as RAF Defford and RAF Pershore came under control of the Station.
Every Thursday it would arrive to collect the airmens wages.
One day as the freighter approached, the tower asked the pilot to check his undercarriage was down and locked.
"Down and rivetted!" came the response!
